there are friends who prefer to be friends, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother...proverbs 18:24 such a friend, who hath made our life beautiful on Good Friday His sacrificial Death to redeem sinners because He obeyed God's Will Christ's almighty Love saves us a sacred price He doth pay without grudge surmounting bitter pain and torment on the Cross at all times, Christ comforts the lonely He cheers the sick; He feeds the hungry He warms the despairing hearts He reaches out to us with the Hand of Love there is hope trusting Him in this dark world more than a brother, the closest of all friends who never flees from us in times of need who understands our condition ere we voice it who guides us with patience and compassion He is mercy; He is Love
