Trudging upon rugged country road
Wondering where it leads
Stricken with foreboding fears
Carrying heavy loads of worries and anxieties
Burdened with cares within the heart
Grandpa used to tell us:
it's never about the journey
but who is with us along the way
know that God is our faithful and constant companion
who lightens our journey
Over the years, we would have trudged along many a rugged road
Across levels of undulating grounds and tough terrains
Through scorching sun or torrential rain
But our Good Lord abides and stays close
He hath kept us safe thus far
Dusty boots
Treasured memories
Braving the sun, braving the roaring storms
Trusting in God, our Saviour who holds our hand
Safely we land.....one day in His Promised Land
